We offer a wide range of services in-store for students, departments, faculty, alumni and guests, including campus residents, Thunderbird and Heat fans and parents/guardians. These include:

Books (including textbooks and general books)

• Textbook information and support
• Rentals: you can now rent your books and return them at the end of the term with savings of up to 55%
• Buyback: we buy back your textbooks throughout the year helping you to save money
• Copyright at UBC
• Special order service. If you want a book that we do not have in stock, we can order it for you from anywhere in North America
• Used book classifieds.

IT

• Online shopping and in-store pick up
• IT Services help desk and charging station for your smart phones, laptops and iPods (Vancouver only)
• Phone plans for students and departments, as well as activation.

Other

• UBCcard services. The UBCcard is the university's official student identification card that facilitates an array of services on campus (Vancouver only). NEW: You can also get your passport photos taken here for $12.50
• UPass. You can now pick up your monthly pass at the UBC Bookstore in Vancouver, and soon at Robson Square
• Custom imprint products for gifts or for events
• Coffee bar (Vancouver only) and refreshments. It also serves Fair Trade coffee
• Relax areas throughout the store (Vancouver only)
• Events including Rez night, discount book sale, Facebook sales and in-store clinics (yoga, make-up etc). Want a particular type of event or do you want to run one? Let us know.

Advertising and marketing opportunities

We have a range of ways that you can advertise or promote your services inside and outside the Bookstore, whether you are a campus or external organization:

• Digital screen program

• Plaza rental information and contract

• Marketing opportunity during our busiest back to school periods - September and January's RUSH. We will promote your brand in-store, online and through our social media channels, in return for you providing funding for marketing initiatives targeted towards our students.
